About Henry & Company
TIM THERIAULT began his retail career in Provincetown in the late 1980s working the floors at a few of the prominent retailers of the day. Shortly after moving to New York City in 1990, Tim began managing the iconic All American Boy store on Christopher Street, and its seasonal Fire Island Pines store.
When the lease for the Christopher Street location ended in 1994, Tim (easily) convinced owners Henry De Nome, and Gerry Delvan to launch a new All American Boy location in Provincetown.
Joining Henry and Gerry as an equal partner, Tim launched All American Boy in Provincetown at 368 Commercial Street (now the Yates & Kennedy shop). The new store was very well received and over the next couple of years tried out a few different locations, finally arriving at its current (and favorite!) Provincetown location — 210 Commercial Street — where it’s been for the last 19 years.
In 2010, Tim renamed the store Henry & Company, in honor of his former business partner and mentor Henry De Nome. The newly launched Henry & Co. refocused its offerings on better men’s apparel, footwear and accessories for a more discerning customer. In the Spring of 2015, Tim completed the transformation of his shop with new branding, and the launch of the henryptown.com website — an online shop where Henry & Company visitors could get a taste of Ptown, year round.
The next time you’re in Provincetown, be sure to visit Tim and his friendly team at Henry & Company — you’ll be glad you did!
